The Island

Dinner consists of beef jerky, peanuts and some very shaken up Coke. Carl turns out to be a retired English teacher flying to Guyana for an international teacher's convention. Sophie is an artist who resides in the Ozarks, which explains the carving knife and the decent hunting skills. Melissa, as she explained before, is a pediatrician formally from Maine migrating to warmer weather and a calling for service work. Lydia however, has not spoken a word the whole dinner. Is now the time to ask her what her story is?
