She picked up what looked like a carving knife and lead the team into the jungle.
You walk over to the pile of luggage. There's plenty of clothing, that's for sure, but no sign of your knapsack. A scream from down the beach makes you lose your balance and you go headfirst into the pile of luggage. Remaining conscious this time, you could run to see where the scream came from or hide in the luggage in case it's a predator.
