Chamber's College
"Ah, Dean Ockham. I can't seem to do so much as take my cat for a walk without you finding out, can I? It just so happened that this student spoke to me, which is only natural since the power is out."
"I can see that, Leblanc," retorted Dean Ockham, taking a look at the perplexed Tox, who in turn observed the dominating bearing of the school's master. "Somehow your always getting mixed up in things. Don't think I've forgotten about what happened when the Council tried to evict you."
"Forget? Of course not...lest they try again. That is not the manner in which I would prefer to leave this institution," muttered Leblanc with a dark grin.
"I'm sorry," interjected Tox, "but isn't there a fuse box nearby where we can reset the power?"
Just then, a sound made them all turn to see a new person enter into the room; they carried a gas lamp that shone brightly compared to the dying fire, but their expression was anything but bright.
