The Island of Destiny

You and Sabrina, enter into the jungle. You are both very careful of where you step, making sure not to come too close to any plant that looks as if it could be poisonous or harmful.

After a few minutes of wading through the jungle brush, you begin to get a feel for the jungle and you fall right into your surroundings. You become absorbed with all of the sounds of the jungle, especially the animals. You also find yourself hypnotized by the luring, exotic smell of the jungle air. There are so many things in this jungle that almost seem to try and lure your attention and for the next couple of hours, you and Sabrina don't even talk to one another.

Finally, you both come to a small pond of water and Sabrina runs to it quickly. Once at the water, she bends down and quickly picks up scoopfulls of water in her hands and drinks.

After a minute of watching her, you step next to her and do the same. By now, Sabrina wipes her mouth and sits back on some rocks, looking content.

"Ahh," she sighs. "I just realized how thirsty I was when I saw that water."

You nod in agreement, but then something catches your eye in the water. It's a very blurred vision coming from the water, and in a second the image is gone but you almost could've sworn you saw something golden in the water. But you realize it could've just been a reflection of the light against the water. And yet, you still can't shake the idea that there might be something down in that water that could be very valuable.

You stick your hand in, but find that the water is deep enough to where you stick your whole arm in and yet, you still can't touch the bottom. Sabrina just looks at you in question.

You're not really sure how deep this pond is but if you want to possibly find treasure, you're going to need to dive down. Is it worth it? Or should you just continue on towards the mountains?
