Rentyre
After a few days on the job, you begin to formulate a plan. The machine's only security measure is a passcode system. And, since one of the chambers is assigned to you, you can use it whenever you want. The Botter is definitely your method of choice to get your body back.
Unfortunately, you have no idea where your body is. Still, you get paid more for having a body, instead of being a robot of questionable circumstances. After your first paycheck, you have enough money to pay for phone service in addition to rent and food costs. The first person you call is your mother, but it turns you your father already left. He walked out on her, finally getting a divorce after all those years.
But what about Reggie? Maybe he could help you out. After all, he's the one who assisted your father with his plan. Maybe he knows where he is.
After a brief chat with a Rentyra Co. operator, she directs you to Reggie's house. It seems he took his millions in settlement to buy a mansion on the east coast. He's living the good life, and any remaining regret you had for stealing his body vanishes.
"Hello?" he says.
"Hello, Reggie. This is Gunther. I have a favor to ask of you. I need to know where my father is, but I have no method of reaching him. I figure you're the only person who can contact him ever since he started his life over."
"And just why the hell should I help you out?"
"Because I have something you want. I'll be more than willing to give you your body back, assuming you can help me retrieve mine."
"So you steal my body outright, and you think I'll just forgive you once you give it back to me!? Sure, I feel sorry for you, and yes, I want my body back. But you're gonna pay! Returning stolen goods doesn't nullify the crime."
"And just what do you want me to do about it? I didn't do anything illegal," you say.
"Illegal and immoral are two different things," counters Reggie. "The way I see it, you're willing to do anything for my help, right? I'll give it to you- but at a cost. I want my body back, whether or not your plan works. My body in exchange for information. And, if your plan works, and you do get your body back, I demand ten grand for my help."
"What?" you yell. "How the hell do you expect me to get that much money?"
"That's not my problem," he tells you. "If you can't pay up front, I'll hire you as my butler."
