Will Richard Save the Day on his Day Off? You Decide!

You and Peter leave Bremer's office and head towards the docking bay where your glider is located.

When you arrive, you lie to the man on watch and tell him that you have orders to take your glider out. Luckily, he doesn't check his records and gives you permission. That was a close one, if you had been caught in your lie you'd hate to think what would have happened.

You and Peter get into the glider. It's silver and has a sleek aerodynamic design which only rarely comes in useful since most of your flying hours are spent in the vacuum of space. The large doors separating the docking bay and space slowly open, and you get an 'all clear' from control. You skillfully pilot your way out of the dock, and soon clear the station all together.

"Feels good to be out again knowing that we won't be spending the next few hours flying over that planet's grey and cratered surface," Peter says to you over his radio from the back of the glider. "I promise you you won't be disappointed that you came out here Richard."

"We better find something, I don't want to be court-martialed for disobeying orders when we get back."

"Ha! You worry too much, the worst we'll get is a slap on the wrist and maybe a short suspension."

"Too late to go back now. I'll take us further out."

You fly away from the station at full power and quickly accelerating. It's not long before with a blue flash of Cheronkov radiation you break the light barrier.
