Paul's Kingdom

"I can't risk getting hurt," you explain. "It just isn't worth it. Without me the kingdom doesn't really exist."

"True," Q'iol concedes, "But if we don't stop the Yuras we still won't exist!"

"Oh, give it up," Vero smirks. "He's not going to do it. We'll just have to find another way."

"Well, let's get to the point," Restuit cuts on. "Where can we now go that will take us to the Yuran homelands?"

You pause to think. "Well, we could either look for another bridge or try to find the start of the creek and go around it. Maybe we could even cut in earlier and go across somewhere safer."

"Alright, well where are these places? Do you know where a bridge is? Do you know where you could cross safely?" Q'iol stil seems dissatisfied.

"Uh, well...there is a bridge about a half-mile upstream. However, it's after the stream breaks into its two tributaries...if we follow the other, which I've never done before, we might be able to cross in a half hour."

"You've never been there before?" Resuit asks, concerned. "So it could take hours until we find a safe place?"

"It could. But it's unlikely. Not many streams of this size are that long."

"Well, I guess it's your choice again, then."
