The knights Lady

Alinor decides that she would like to be dressed properly when she tells her father of the riders. She also wants that... MAN to see her dressed well. SO, he thinks I'm a peasant? We'll see about that!

She steps into her room to see her mother talking with Mary Alinor's maid. "There is the child now, and not a moment too soon!" The Baroness said pertly. Baroness Ann was a lovely woman of Middle years. She shared her daughters red hair and green eyes, but Ann was small and round while Alinor had the tall slender frame of her father's family. "Alinor, We are expecting your brother for dinner tonight, so you must wash and dress finely to welcome him home"

Alinor lit up at the thought. If Robert was coming, then so was Wil. Wil is her brother's squire and the only boy she has ever kissed. Her face flushed just thinking about it. She couldn't wait to kiss him again.

"Mother" said Alinor, "There was a Knight on the road on his way here, He had 30 men with him" Alinor told her Mother. "I gave him bad directions so that I could have time to tell father. Where is he?"

"Your Father is out by the stables, dress first and then you can tell him. But dress quickly. There is nothing to worry about with your brother on his way, I better go tell the cook"
