Will sides with the pirate simply because pirates are obviously much cooler than vikings will ever be... or so he thought. The viking then challenges the pirate to a duel in order to determine who is better once and for all. The pirate accepts but before he can draw his sword the massive bleeding in his gums and infection in his blood due to scurvy causes him to fall to the ground, writhing in pain. The viking seizes the opportunity to decapitate the pirate with his trusty axe. He then turns to Will and chops him in half for siding with the pirate.
