Days in the Dorm
Cool as a Cucumber
After what she said and how she acted you figured it would be best to just play it cool and hope it blows over. Give her the space she wanted and try and act like you never had that little outburst. The whole thing was stupid anyway. You can't let it go inside your head, but you do your best to not show it externally.
She comes home and you just stay on your bed reading. Only after she greets you do you reply with a casual "Hey" back to her. She gives you a strange look, but then goes back about her business. You still watch when she changes, but don't comment on it or keep watching past that point.
She seems to notice your actions at first, but after a few days she starts to act normally again. Things seem to begin to go back to the way it was before, as if your little outburst never happened. Apparently your plan to act cool seemed to work.
You also notice she has spent a few more afternoons hanging out with her friends, but seems to have no other guy in her life. Nor does she seem to show any interest in pursuing any guys.
It's a couple weeks later before something happened to possibly change things again. She had gotten showered and just finished getting dressed for class. She grabs her bag and walks over next to your bed, where you are still laying and reading something to study for your test today.

"Not sure." You say with a shrug. "Perhaps the two of you would like some girl time alone or something. I could always go find something to do and come back late in the evening."
She gets up and heads for the door. "Whatever you want. We'll be here all night, so whenever you show up or not it's cool." On that she slips out the door for the day.
You sit there, smiling to yourself, and think about how you are going to handle the day. You know you have class, but after that you still aren't sure what to do. You could always head right home as usual and see what that leads to, but that would leave them no alone time together. Or, you could waste some time after class and come home later in the evening, which would give them some time alone but let you stay in your own room. And then there is always the option of staying out all night to let them have as much private time as they need.
You wait until your classes come to an end before finally deciding. Walking out of your final class you look around, first towards the dorm and then towards the quad. You nod your head, having decided what you are going to do, and...
