The Island of Destiny

As you try to climb your way down to the smaller ledge you find that it's not going to be as easy as you thought. The rock wall is very steep and slippery and there aren't many places to hold on to. After a few minutes of climbing you put your foot on the small ledge and the rock you are gripping onto breaks off. As you struggle to keep your balance, you slip off the edge of the cliff! The ocean is still about seventy feet below.

You've only got one chance to grab back onto that ledge. But wait, which is your better hand? Hurry up, you've got about a quarter of a second.
