The demon scam

You pick up a cookie from your pouch with one hand, keping the other one firmly around Merle's. "Here!" you say, not in your best of moods, trying to shove the cookie into her mouth.

Merle turns her head away and cries, "You're mean! Stupid bigbrother!"

You're staring to lose your patience with her, and besides, you're worried that she'll drag attention to you, so you give a quick glance around for demons.
