The demon scam

As the creature come around the rock, you see that is is a female cat-demon with a long black tail and fuzzy ears perking up from her dark hair.

"P.. Please don't eat me!" you gasp, hoping that even demons might show mercy sometimes.

The cat-like female blinks her eyes in slight surprise, flicking an ear. Then she starts laughing. "Don't fret, little one," she says, "You are way too sweet to be eaten - my teeth would rot."

You exhale your held breath, feeling slightly stupid.
