The demon scam
You have no clue how much time has passed before you come to again, but when you do, you almost wished you hadn't... Even opening your eyes hurt, and when you try to get up, you wince with pain. Your entire body aches.
A quick glance around reveals blueish rock formations as far as you can see, twisted and ragged in a rather eery manner, looming over you infront of a background made up from a threatening red sky.
But this is not your biggest problem, because now your eyes fall on the snarling pack of hyenas closing in on you.
What's even worse, you realize what this place is - it must be the demon realm you've heard the elders in your village warn you about so many times. Sometimes, portals between the demon realm and the human world open up, and the tree must have served like one of those. Damn Merle's curiousity...
Mortals are forbidden here, so you need to find Merle and get her out of here fast.
