Assault of the Sorcerer Kings
While the court and kings are locked in heated debates over the subject a powerful and well respected mage known as Delta Sigante steps forward and recruits some friends from his adventuring days to investigate the rising hoards of evil and the faint glint of hope. Some of them he sent to the desert kingdoms, the most logical source to find the first Sorcerer King. Others are sent in search of the second Sorcerer King, in the hopes of preventing him from rising at all. Another group is sent to find the lost warriors of Sembo. And the fourth group is sent out in search of the weapons of Losham and the armor of Tikani. Delta has elected to stay behind and implore the kingdoms to react to the rise of evil and accept the fact that the prophecy has awakened and threatens to destroy all that the people hold dear.
The group headed to deal battle with the first sorcerer king in the Mohigan desert to the west. The Mohigan desert seemed the logical choice because of two things. First; the flood of refugees is coming from the west. Second; "the land of endless sun" seems to indicate desert land. Primarily in the group are battalions of soldiers and knights. Heading the battalions are the knights of the land; Sir Kedrik, Sir Gaiman, Sir Talis, and Lady Flora.
The second group headed east in search of the second Sorcerer King, to the Angler Mountains. The assumption is that the "Sunless land" is likely a part of the extensive subterrainian caverns which can be accessed through the mountain range. Within this group are three knights Sirs Gnishaw, Gallor, and Hector accompanied by a score of unranked soldiers. Along with the valiant warriors are a few men of exceptional ability, but not so noble of character; Dolak Sanum, master thief; Semaj Neb, a notorious assassin; Gorath, a powerful Minotaur warrior; and Crimson Makis, a well reputed mercenary.
In search of the lost warriors of Gorken is a small group consisting of a well versed mage known as Azoun Duchet; Cain and Raven, a pair of rogue brothers; a priestess known as Jalil, sister to Cain and Raven; An elven ranger known as Sasson Jorn, a strongarmed giant of a man known as Sivus, and a well traveled warrior called Fonte Tallman; all three members of a secretive organization of heroes known as The Guardians.
Sent to find the armor of Tikani and the weapons of Losham is a group of six. Thankfully there is a way to find these items by finding an enchanted underground lake that will indicate their locations. In this group is a pair of elven cousins; Austius Silverfrond, a hot tempered ranger; and Swan Willowcreek, a powerfull druidess. Traveling with them also is a powerful and kind hearted warrior known as Glavian Duvel; and his apprentice; Jamis Forthryte. Also is a feisty dwarf warrior known as Ront Ironarm and a reserved rogue by the name of Mordel.
