You jump straight back and turn to run when you hear the whistle of a bullet sailing past your ear and a coyote yelp in pain behind you. Great, you think; He's got a silencer too.

You cut right suddenly and begin running in a zig zag formation in the hopes of making yourself a more difficult target for the sniper and a more elusive prey for the coyote.

When the coyote get too near again, you cut back left and hear one of them stumble and fall. Another coyote cries out behind you and you wonder if the sniper is shooting at you or the coyotes.

You are still in the savannah, plains all around dotted by an occasional tree and wild clusters of shrubbery. A few hundred meters to your left is the swamp land you just left. To your right, barely perceivable in the distance you can see a patch of a wooded area. Straight ahead the plains continue and on the horizon you can see a hilly land.

You hear set of jaws snap closed just behind you, accompanied by snarling and the fall of their feet. You have genetically superior reflexes, but nothing can truly defeat nature's instinct.
