You glance around a moment to check that no one is near to you, and then lower your voice in order to ask, "What do you mean? Who are you, anyway?"
"My name's Mryar," the man replies with a slight shrug. He smiles. "You're not human... I can feel it."
"Are *you*?" you demand.
"Not entirely," the man answers. He stops his car, and gets out. "I can... feel things," he explains. "What you're about to do would be a very big mistake."
"I'll be the judge of that," you mutter, beginning to walk in the direction of the police station once more. You glare at a woman who has been watching you and the other man, and she gives a soft squeak and quickly runs off.
"Turning yourself in to the police isn't going to make up for what you did," Mryar, if that's *really* his name, speaks up.
You whirl on him, a soft, animal growl escaping your throat. "How do *you* know what I did?!" you demand.
Mryar makes a gesture towards the car. "Hop on, and I'll tell you," he responds.
You stare at the man. Hop on? Strange words for getting in a car.
As though reading your mind, Mryar quickly explains, "This is just an illusion. It isn't really a car - actually, it's a horse."
Ok, what do you think?
