Legend

When you wake up, you find you've been stripped of everything you're carrying and tied to a chair. The room you're in is barren and dull gray. There's only one door.

(Don't erase them off though, you might get them back if you survive all this. Just keep in mind you don't have anything now)

Tanya is also tied to a chair just waking up; you can see her face more clearly again without that damn hood on, covering her. You also notice something you never noticed the first time she took her hood off. Two little horns. She must go to great lengths to arrange her hair to cover them, along with wearing the hood.

Falcon waltzes in.

"Okay, now that we're in a less public area we can discuss business." He says.

"I got nothing to say to you Falcon! Do your worst!" Tanya says defiantly.
"Oh you can be sure I will when the time comes, but I wasn't really interested in talking with you. I'm more interested in your boyfriend."
"Hah, I knew with a name like Falcon, you were light on your feet." You say.

Falcon smiles at this comment, you know what comes next.

SMASH!

You spit some blood out of your mouth.

"Always with the clever retort aren't you? Well, the Syndicate might appreciate your brand of humor when you join us as a fully fledged member."

Tanya looks at you in disgust.

"You…you were working for THEM?! I knew it! I warned Garrick! You…you…SONOFABITCH! BASTARD!" she says trying to get free.
"Oh no, no, no. Calm down you hot headed little demonkin He's not working for us yet. We just approached him with a proposition that I'm sure he's had time to think about since then. Right?"
"Yeah."
"What? No witty remark? No pithy comeback? Looks like you're ready to be serious and make a decision."

You look over at Tanya.

"Look, if I join and tell you about the Guild's defenses, could you at least let Tanya go?" you ask.
"Ha ha ha! No, I couldn't. She's an enemy. If I let her go, she might very well try to cause some trouble later on, and while I'm sure we'd be able to deal with her. I'm told an enraged demonkin can cause a lot of damage. Nope can't take that chance."

Tanya then addresses you and calls you by name.

"If you have ANY feelings for me like you claim you have, you will NOT collaborate against the Guild and join the Syndicate."
"If he doesn't join us, he isn't going to have a chance with anyone. Alright, I'm tired of this Minotaur shit. Make a damn decision."
"Hold on! What if I get Tanya to join the Syndicate too?"

Tanya is silent at your sudden proposal; she looks surprised. Falcon rolls his eye and rubs his hand over his face at this point.

"What if I just torture the shit out of you and MAKE you tell me?" Falcon exclaims.
"Come on Falcon, what've you got to lose? You already got both of us at your mercy, and I'm pretty much going to join anyway, so why don't you at least let me try to convince her that she should join too? You'll be gaining a valuable member."
"Yeah, I'm pretty damn sure she'd be more useful than you…(Sigh) alright, go ahead with your idiotic plan, but given how she seems to feel about you I don't anticipate you succeeding. I'll be back in ten minutes. Oh, and just in case you think of getting the bright idea to lie to me only to betray us when I release you, think again. There's a magical field in this room that will detect your intentions."

Falcon exits the room, leaving you and Tanya alone.
