Legend

Stopping him physically would just get you into trouble, maybe you slow him down a bit though. And maybe Tanya will hear the sound of the flute and she'll know to get out of there.

"Ah, but I cannot let you leave without some music at least!" you say and begin playing your flute and obnoxiously start getting in his way.

"Will you get out of my way, I have to…" his words are cut off when in your amazing ability to get underfoot, you end up "accidentally" tripping him as he attempts to go down the stairs, of course now you've caused him to fall down them.

"AAAAAARGH! My leg!" he yells, when he hits the bottom, which causes the other Priests to come running to your position and some head down to help him. Well you hope Tanya heard that! You on the other hand take this opportunity to make your exit.

"Okay, well I can see an accident has occurred, so I'll take my leave now and just like to say you've been a wonderful audience, Good Night!" you quickly run out of the temple.

You don't get far, when you bump into Tanya, looks like she got out in time, she looks a little peeved though.

"What the hell was all that noise? And didn't I tell you to distract them? Fortunately I was just finishing up when I heard that Priest screaming in pain nearby. What did you do?"
"Nevermind, you got the gem?"
"Yeah, despite your incompetence."
"Incompetence? I did my job and I did it damn well! I couldn't captivate EVERY priest there and I think tripping up one so he'd fall down the stairs was a lot better than letting him walk down there!"

Tanya relents a little; she sees your point of view.

"Okay, I guess I've been a little hard on you. I guess you did alright… well let's get this back to the Guild.

Oh yeah, you're definitely wearing her down.
