Legend
A few more weeks pass and it finally happens, Rebellion! Troops are immediately commanded to restore order.
"I hope that sissy I call a son, trained them well, he'll be in charge of dictating orders to them." The Baron says. You hope so too, since you don't really relish the idea of having to defend the Palace from an army of angry revolutionaries.
A few days go by and it almost looks like that possible reality is going to come to pass! The troops have done a terrible job of putting down the rebellion. Farad's "ingenious plans" of attempting a "civilized confrontation" have been failing from day one and they don't seem to be fighting all that well. Eventually the Baron gets so mad; he takes control of them himself and orders a draconian slash and burn policy of just killing anyone causing trouble.
This doesn't exactly improve things. It does manage to scare some of the opportunists into behaving, but it's pretty apparent that the Baron's just making himself more hated.
Of course now this means he has to drag you into this as well.
"You! I need someone competent out there to handle things. Get out there and solve this problem!" the Baron demands.
"What?! How am I supposed to do that?!" you ask.
"Look, it's obvious that my incompetent troops aren't going to cut it. What we NEED to do is find the core of the rebellion, the leader of this whole damn thing. Track him down and kill him and all of this will fall apart."
"What about you though? I thought I was supposed to be defending you."
"You will by killing the leader of this blasted rebellion! The Palace is pretty well protected, the rebels won't be storming this place anytime soon, and there are enough guards here. Take this royal seal, just in case any of my soldiers mistake you for a rebel. Now go!"
You leave the Palace wondering about the wisdom of the choice you made when you began working for nobility. The city is in absolute anarchy. You stick to back alleys and avoid the bigger battles going on. You have no idea how you're supposed to locate this rebellion leader, but that changes when you come across a group of soldiers who are questioning some citizens. Or rather beating it out of them.
"Ha ha! A building in the main square! Hiding in plain sight eh? You could've saved yourself a lot of pain by telling us that in the first place, stupid rebels. Kill the lot of them and burn the place down." the Sergeant says
"No! Look we're not rebels!" the beat up peasant pleads.
"Maybe not directly, but you're sympathizers, death to all of you!"
"NO! Okay, maybe some of us were, but not ALL of us here. At least leave our families out of it! They didn't do anything!"
"Oh I highly doubt that. Kill them all."
At this point a few of the soldiers see you. You quickly flash your royal seal before they start attacking you. Of course a fight still might break out depending on your feelings on the situation.
"So, what do you want?" the Sergeant demands.
