Legend
Farad deftly avoids all your clumsy moves. Almost yawning, he strikes back, giving you a slash across the face. If you aren't scarred already you are now. (Mark down "Scarred" on your profile)
Farad then laughs "Ha ha ha ha! That was hardly worth my time! And you're supposed to train these peons? I think not! You MAY assist me, since I'm sure my father has insisted that you be here, but I'M in charge! Remember that every time you look in the mirror!"
Well this certainly wasn't good for your self-esteem. Lose 2 LUCK points.
You spend most of your time assisting Farad who despite beating you in combat, STILL isn't the best teacher in any sense of the word. He instills absolutely no inspiration in the troops what so ever. You attempt to rectify this, but it doesn't do any good, the troops aren't too inspired by you either since Farad beat you. And whenever you think you might be getting somewhere with a few of them, Farad interjects and undoes all your work. Eventually you basically give up and just stand around doing nothing.
A couple weeks go by, and then it happensĀ uprisings. The Baron calls you to lead the troops to restore order since you've been training them. (Apparently Farad, is too important to actually lead the troops personally) Uprisings are all throughout the city, you have to split your small army up to take care of them all, but you take your 10 best soldiers to put down the most severe ones.
For this part of the adventure, you'll be fighting in a group against other groups. You'll temporarily have two new stats SQUAD STAMINA and SQUAD SKILL. If your SQUAD STAMINA reaches zero at any time, you've been killed along with the rest of your soldiers. After you've put down the rebellion, you don't need to keep track of these and may erase them.
Unfortunately Farad's "training" didn't do much to improve their fighting skills; he spent most of his time belittling them, whatever fighting skill they may have is only due to what little input you had.
Your SQUAD SKILL is 8
Your SQUAD STAMINA is 15
