The kitten immediately goes up to you and starts rubbing up against your leg making a purring noise, but a little deeper sounding. Given that's former master was a medusa, it probably never had that much kindness shown to it. Looks like you've just made a new friend. Of course now you have to dig into that disgusting manticore corpse to get its heart instead.
Fortunately, your new friend helps you by using its sharp claws and fangs to dig in, and its accurate quills to kill the big rot grubs infesting the decomposing heart. Its still disgusting though as you place the thing in your backpack (Takes up 3 spaces) You head off with your new pet running along side you.
You decide to call him Spikey. Mark down that you now have a Manticore kitten as a pet.
