You manage to pry the gem out and ALMOST get out of there unscathed. As you were attempting to climb down, you fall off of the statue twisting your ankle. Lose 1 SKILL point. You try to limp away as fast as you can but just as you're making your exit; you're seen by the Chieftain who screams at two of his untranced men to capture you. You're fortunate that the rest are still in the middle of summoning something. You manage to just get out of the swamp when the two Lizard men in pursuit catch up to you. Fight them at the same time.

If you win, you quickly continue on your way and find someplace to hide before anymore Lizard men come looking for you, especially when they figure out, you didn't just trespass; you also stole a gem from their statue.

Eventually you make it back to Holgard.
