He gives you another 25 gold pieces. If you're a Wizard he also gives you a magical staff, which will allow you to do the normal 2 STAMINA points worth of damage in combat.
Well considering you're getting free room and board you figure you can stick around a little longer. You spend the next few days resting and just getting more familiar with the city. (Restore your STAMINA up to its initial value) On one of these days, some children come up to you begging for money. They must come from a nearby orphanage. They certainly are a raggedy looking bunch.
