For whatever reason the temperature starts to drop significantly. There's an unearthly chill in the air and you're incredibly cold. If you have a cloak of some sort, it protects you from some of the cold, but if not, lose 2 STAMINA points as it seems to sap your energy.
As you continue along the cold corridor, you notice the torches are burning with a blue flame now. The corridor ends at a door; the handle is actually so cold it burns your hand to touch. You can't hear anything on the other side of the door, but that doesn't mean something isn't in there.
You could persist in this, or you could go back and go to the right corridor.
