Part 1 - Darkwood
Upon waking this morning on the edge of Darkwood, you were shocked to discover that Vandil wasn't with you. You spent the few hours of the early morning looking for him throughout the dark brooding landscape. Now you have no idea where he went or what happened to him. You decide to continue along the winding stony path alone with the hope that he could be up further ahead.
The forest around you is dimly lit and after walking for some time you realise that the forest is silent, devoid of life. The only sound you hear is the sound of water in the distance. After a couple of minutes you reach a river, a dark river that is almost black. The path stops here, but you see that it continues on the other side. You have no idea if the river is safe or dangerous to swim across. What will you do now?
