You think about it for a few moments before responding. "I don't think it's worth the risk," You say, "I think we should get out while we still can."
Gus slaps you on the back. "You're damn right we should. Thank God I'm not the only one with a lick a sense around here."
Annie glares at you for a second. "I still think we coulda taken 'em." She says. The three of you discuss it no more and get your horses ready. Time is of the essence.
You mount up and head out into the night, leaving the fire behind you. You don't stop moving until the sun starts to rise. You find yourselves not far from a town, standing beside a "Welcome to Kallow" sign. You could all use a rest and you move your horses toward the town at a slow pace.
Immediatley upon entering the town Annie dismounts and leaves checks you all into a room. You three always share a room when traveling, it saves on expenses. Gus takes the horses and leads them to the stables.
That leaves you all alone. There is a Saloon not far off, you could use a drink after last night, and would prefer to keep your whiskey flask for emergencies. On the other hand, it might not be a bad idea to restock your supply of traveling rations. At least that would be productive.
What do you decide?
