The Black Citadel

You pull out the silver dagger from your backpack and try and insert it into the lock. To your absolute surprise, the dagger fits in perfectly. So your guess is that the dagger isn't a weapon after all, but actually a large key. You give the dagger a twist and the throne that you're sitting in moves backwards to reveal a narrow staircase leading down.

Your curiosity has given you only one choice, and that is to head down. The short staircase leads to a small weakly lit room. The wall in front of you has a large painting of a snake eating its own tail.
