Legend

When you enter Yag's temple, you think you've stepped into the wrong place because it looks like a gambling den. You have to interrupt one of the priests from a dice game to get any attention.

"What?! Can't you see Yag favors me today?! Make it quick!" the priest demands. You explain your situation, and the priest nods quickly.

"Yes, yes, yes, well its pretty obvious with your indecision you'll need a lot of fortune on your side, you can join, but let's see what Yag thinks of you first."

After playing a session of random games, your responsibilities are made clear to you.

First, any other "priestly items" you may have, must be discarded, this means your Holy symbol that you started with and a Black Book you may have found. All former prayers by whatever God you followed before are also discarded.

Second your Initial LUCK goes up by 2. Whenever you are asked to test your LUCK and add extra numbers to the result, you won't need to.

While you were playing games, you managed to lose all your gold and valuable items like gems. Cross them off. Your new outlook on life is a bit "carefree", which means you aren't going to be keeping up on your combat abilities, lose 1 point of Initial SKILL.

Don't expect Yag to answer your prayers too often, in fact maybe not at all! Luck and fortune are random and so is Yag. However you do get one and you may use it to replenish your LUCK up to its Initial value.

Alignment isn't really a factor to Yag, in fact he doesn't really care what you do, life is so random that he doesn't expect you to act the same way constantly even if you made a constant effort to do so. You won't become faithless unless you openly leave Yag, or some other extraordinary circumstance comes about. Basically you get to find out what pisses him off completely by random chance, won't that be fun?

Ready to face the world with your new faith, you leave.
