Legend

You find a temple of Karn, the place almost resembles a giant training room and the Priests look more like a King's elite guard rather than holy men. You explain your situation.

"So! You've decided to cast off the shackles of your weak God and follow one who is a warrior and takes matters into his own hands eh? That proves much bravery to stand up against a deity, but Karn doesn't just take anyone! You'll have to prove yourself!" the head priest remarks.

After going through a rigorous training session, you're finally told what is expected of you.

First, any other "priestly items" you may have, must be discarded, this means your Holy symbol that you started with and a Black Book you may have found. All former prayers by whatever God you followed before are also discarded

Second your Initial STAMINA goes up by 6, and from now on you may add 2 to your dice roll in normal combat, regardless of whatever weapon you use.

Karn isn't too keen on mental endeavors though, he believes a warrior shouldn't think he should ACT. Your new training has made you take a more simplistic view of things. Lose 2 Initial MIND points

Don't expect Karn to answer your prayers too often, a warrior is suppose to be strong and rely on himself, however you get one, and you may use it to replenish your STAMINA up to its Initial value.

Your alignment doesn't matter too much to Karn, so you won't risk becoming faithless that way, but you're expected to act like a warrior, running from battle is frowned upon severely. If you ever choose to escape from battle, you will immediately be stripped of ALL benefits you will have received from Karn (Stats, items, etc) and your status will become Faithless.

Ready to face the world with your new faith, you leave.
