Legend

You aren't thinking straight, thoughts of vengeance are all that come to mind, and you fully intend to act upon those thoughts. You cry out for vengeance. Scripture would dictate that The One True God demands justice for the murder of his worshippers! Rationalize it all you like, but whether you're aware of it or not you're following a darker path. -5 to your alignment.

Now to track down those orcs, and it looks like you've been heard, as you scan the flaming buildings, you see a small green creature talking to himself and attempting to drag a heavy sack of something. It's a GOBLIN. Smaller than orcs and usually bullied by their larger cousins.

"Skabnoze get big treasure! Heheheh! Skabnoze bring to boss and he raise status in tribe! Hehehehe! Eeeek!"
Skabnoze's enthusiasm ceases when you pick up the little creature and demand that he tell you where the orcs are.
"Never! Skabnoze never betray tribe!"

That remains to be seen.

If you wish, you may continue to threaten Skabnoze, test your LUCK, if you're lucky he tells you everything and the quickest way to get to the cave that the raiders have set up base in.

If you fail or don't wish to test your luck, your current state of mind is making you capable of doing all kinds of things you wouldn't have previously consideredÂ…namely torture. Going this route will most certainly make Skabnoze talk, but you must subtract another 4 points of alignment by doing so.

If you fail your luck, but aren't ready to resort to torture, the orcs weren't exactly subtle in their get away and you can eventually track them down, but following their tracks results in you encountering a wandering DIRE WOLF that killed one of the orcs during their escape. It attacks you for interrupting its meal.
