You go up to Brenda. Now is its time to just let it all out about you feel, and just suffer the consequences if she doesn't feel the same way.
She smiles as you approach her, but that smile quickly turns to shock when you let it all out. Her mouth hangs open for about a minute before speaking.
"I I don't know what to say "
You feel like someone's dropped an anvil on you, and hang your head down.
"You don't feel the same way " you say.
"Um, well I just didn't know you felt that way; I mean you never expressed it."
You instantly perk up!
"So you'll be my girlfriend?" you say excitedly.
"Um, well that's the thing I'm kind of involved with someone else right now and "
"Hey! What're you doing talking to my girl? I know you want her, well she's mine!"
It's Klint, a "rival" of yours since childhood. For reasons known only to him he hates you. You didn't even know he and Brenda were an item, must be just a recent occurrence.
"This is been a long time coming!" he says and charges at you!
Looks like you're in for a fight.
