The Ring of Time
You decide to give the class your real name and tell them something general about yourself.
"My name is Michael Holt and I'm from right here in Richmond. And I like the ladies... yeah, I like-a them, they like-a me. Mmmm, hmmm." (You chuckle to yourself, knowing that the movie you're referencing won't be out for several years.)
All the girls near you seem to roll their eyes in unison. "All right, Mr. Cassanova, have a seat," the teacher chides. General giggles bubble up around the room, and have just begun to die down when you hear, "Dork!" from a guy in the corner of the class, whose buddies all chime in laughing. It seems there's always someone in high school that wants to kick you when you're down.
The teacher turns to the student, saying, "Darren, quiet." He looks at you with an impudent smirk, knowing that's all the rebuke he'll get. ...Or maybe not. It's the beginning of the school year, and how you're perceived now might affect the rest of your time here. Will you...
