Final Quest
"Ok, I'll go in with you," you sigh, pushing your doubts aside. They're probably just groundless, anyway.
Rurona smiles, and walks up to the doors of the palace. She lifts her hands, and the doors open on their own. "Come in," she tells you all. There seems to be a faint echoing sound to her voice, but you can't be totally sure. In any case, it's probably nothing.
You, Alasse, and Torai step into the palace, Torai returning to his human form. You are not happy to see Rurona eying him with a lot of interest in her eyes.
The inside of the palace is just as beautiful as the outside. It's still made out of the white marble-like material, and there are a lot of rooms and doors. There also seems to be some writing on some of the walls, but you have no chance to study it closely as Rurona is hustling you through a maze of rooms.
Eventually, Rurona steps through a door, and then it suddenly disappears.
"What's happening?" Alasse gasps.
The walls suddenly turn transparant, and you see Rurona's face peering at you, a triumphant smile on her lips. "Let's see you get out of this trap," she says. She laughs then, and it's a harsh, cruel laugh.
The walls turn solid again, and you slump down against one. "Oh, great," you mutter.
"Esther, this was my fault," Torai says. "I thought that we could trust her."
You shake your head. "No, we were all taken in," you sigh.
"But you weren't," Alasse points out. "You were suspicious."
"But not enough to stop us getting into this mess," you mumble.
"I could probably burn through these walls," Torai tells you.
"I could try to sense what's going on here," Alasse puts in.
What do you want to do?
