You glance towards the man, who still hasn't moved, not even to look up. You then walk over to him.
"Esther, be careful," Torai says from behind you. "You don't know how dangerous he is."
The man glances up as you approach, revealling a pale face with grey eyes set a little too wide, framed by longish blond hair. His eyes flicker towards Torai and Alasse for a moment, then return to you. "Yes? Can I help you?" he asks, his tone polite.
"What is this place?" you ask him.
"It is my refuge," the man answers with a shrug. "If I stay here, then I can avoid falling victim to the evil curse that has befallen the once great castle."
"So you're a ghost as well?" Torai asks.
Alasse mumbles something which sounds like, "I could have told you that."
"Yes, I am," the man replies. "While I am here, Rurona cannot get to me."
