Hollywood or Bust
Regretfully, you turn your car around and start the long journey home. When you get to Las Vegas, you notice your car is out of gas. You still have $27 in your wallet. However, you realize that won't buy enough gas to get home. You'll still have to fill your tank a few more times.
You're in Vegas -- you could take your $27 into a casino and see what happens. But if you lose all your money you'll be screwed.
There are a lot of tourists here. You could disguise yourself as a hotel clerk at one of the casinos, and steal stuff from people's rooms.
Or you could rob a bank.
Then another thought crosses your mind. You could abandon your car and hitchhike the rest of the way home.
You also notice a lot of "NOW HIRING" signs on businesses here. You could easily get a job here.
