Silent, but Deadly

So, you decide to follow the Sgt.'s order. You exit the bunker and find yourself being bombarded by enemy fire. You make it to the first fighting hole where you meet a friend of yours from back home. He looks at you in amazement and asks if you are okay. You acknowledge to him that you are fine. As the rounds fly, you tell your friend that you must leave and give out the much-needed ammo to your fellow brothers. Your friend is hit by a round and is now wounded. The blood starts to spill onto the sands. He tells you that you must go on and continue your mission. You find it difficult to leave you hometown friend to die.
