The Werewolf Chronicles
You are given a loaded shotgun and the three of you go outside.
"I didn't introduce myself earlier, my name's Zhun and this is my younger brother Filip. He doesn't speak any English, so I can help translate if he wants to talk to you." he says.
You introduce yourself as well and you say you're an editor for a small newspaper in London.
"Andrei and Reneta could be anywhere if a werewolf got chase of them."
"What, what did you say...werewolf?"
"Right, that's what I said. I know outsiders find it hard to believe, but they've been around for centuries, especially in these parts."
You rational mind cannot seem to fathom the idea that these men are out tonight with loaded guns, looking for a werewolf. A man that can change into a wolf! These villagers really are superstitious and a bit odd for you. I guess you can't believe the idea till you actually see one.
The three of you check the home of Andrei and Reneta but it's empty. You all then head down a trail into the forest. The stony trail is narrow, windy and really dark. Soon you see a looming shadow up ahead. Under the light of the full moon you see a derelict little wooden hut nestled under a large dead tree. There doesn't seem to be anyone home. Outside it is someone lying lifelessly on the stony path. You get closer and see that it's the body of a young woman, but most of her face and been ripped off and her white dress is in bloody tatters.
After a few moments Zhun calms down enough to talk to you again. "We have to get the werewolf tonight that did this. We can either set a trap or just go and hunt it. What do you think?"
