The Black Citadel
You slip your sword up and over the skeleton's breatplate and you cleave off its head. The skeleton hits the dusty ground and crumbles under the weight of its armour. From the corner of your eye you see Vandil cutting down two more of them in quick succession in the same way.
In front of you, you see a skeleton battling with a gladiator, but the skeleton's sword slices his belly open. Then the sword swings around lightning fast to stab him in the back. You run over to help your fallen comrade, but there is nothing you can do for him as he lies convulsing in the dust. You cut the skeleton's bone legs at the knees and the skeleton falls down, and you follow up by cutting off the skeleton's head when it hits the ground. The head bounces across the dusty ground, its mouth still open and moving as if it's trying to say something.
Vandil comes over to you and points at the skeleton archers in front of you. They're drawing back their bows with their sights on you both. Quick, hit the dust!
