The Black Citadel

The troll stumbles for a second, and then it drops its club. There are only four of you remaining now. Another two gladiators lie squirming in the dust with arrows sticking out of them. The troll stumbles again and then falls downs to the ground creating a large cloud of dust. Vandil jumps on its back and drives his broadsword downward into the troll's head. Blood flies up and Vandil gets covered in dark blood up to his elbows. The stands around you suddenly grow silent. There is a buckler (+1 armour) here laying in the dust from a fallen gladiator that seems to be in good condition.

Remember: (you may take the buckler only if your previous shield or buckler no longer has an armour point, ie – it is broken).
