The Ring of Time
You decide it would be best to take the robbers by surprise, but not at a disadvantage. You stop time, find every one of the robbers in the bank and set all of their weapons on "safe", so that you may make your grand entrance from the bathroom without any itchy trigger fingers blasting you a few new orifices. You then return to the bathroom, chuckle to yourself at what you're about to pull, start time, and then burst from the bathroom.
"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE, YOU NUMB-NUTS!!" you yell, giving all of them quick glances. You notice one of the robbers angrily scratching at his gun, which he was unable to fire. "Ah, Mr. Itchy-Finger," you think. You quickly slow time to 1/50 speed, just quickly enough to notice that Mr. Itchy's first shot was loosed. He has a fully automatic sub-machine gun, so you begin a series of ducks and dodges that would make Keanu Reeves jealous. (Who knows? Maybe the writer that would someday pen "The Matrix" got the idea after watching YOU?) After his clip empties, you watch in 1/4 time as he sneers, (as if your dodges were your death throes) and then becomes aghast that you are still standing. As he reaches for another clip, you notice the other robbers are now staring slack-jawed at you. It doesn't take long (even in 1/4 time) to notice their expressions turn grim and then they begin leveling THEIR guns at you. You notice at the same time that (behind the other robbers' backs, no less) one of the robbers has broken for the door with a sack of cash.
It's your choice. It is time to:
