The Black Citadel

The process is briefly very painful, but you metamorphose into a Phoenix (a giant bird that can burst into a searing hot flame). You sit and wait for the wilderbeast to approach you. It swings its mighty stone hammer at your sitting Phoenix form, but your reflexes are too sharp. You fly up just in time and the hammer crashes in the cave floor underneath you. You spread your wings and fly straight at the wilderbeast with your talons stretched out in front of you. You sink your talons into the wilderbeast's eyes and gorge them out, while at the same time you rip into its neck with your razor sharp beak. The wilderbeast lets out a tremendous roar. You cling to its head and channel all your life energy into making yourself a red hot ball of fire. You explode on the head of the wilderbeast and the now headless form of the wilderbeast falls crashing to the floor of the cave. Not a moment later you find yourself back in human form and you fall to the ground in an exhausted heap. You have slain the wilderbeast. You pick yourself up and walk to the back of the cave to find a large bronze chest.
