Final Quest
To your relief, you find a gap in the dragon's neck, and slot the scale into place.
Instantly, the dragon stirs, opening his eyes and looking at you with obvious curiousity. "You don't look like one of the wizards."
"She's not," Torai says, drawing the dragon's attention to himself. "She's with me."
The dragon nods slowly, shoots an appraising glance at you and Alasse, and then speaks to the green dragon. "Could you try and rescue the others?"
Torai nods. "We will try," he replies. "But our first priority is finding the stone."
"I saw its guardian," the brown dragon murmurs. "A terrible beast. It feeds on the souls of the dead and can rip the living soul out of a person's body."
"Is there any way to defeat it?" you ask.
The brown dragon turns his gaze towards you. "I do not know," he answers. "But you may rest assured that, if I can, I will aid you in this quest." With those words, he disappears.
You have rescued one dragon. Make a note of it.
