The Rune of Gluttony

After a while of searching the hallway, the two soon stumbled upon an old looking bedroom that was dimly lit by candlelight.

"What sort of room is this?" Morgana asked as they looked around with caution.

"Must have belonged to a previous resident." Mila said before her eyes turned to a small little altar as did Morgana's.

On this alter, there sat a single stone tablet with a symbol carved into it as it was surrounded by six lit candles.

"This must be what Darius is after. But what's with that strange symbol?" Morgana pondered as they approached.

"I've seen it in books. Its the seal of the demon Beelzebub, who was said to be the King of Gluttony. The one who made them must have used demonic seals to trap the sins within stone." Mila said looking it over as she noticed a note on the back. "Hmm?"

"What's it say?" Morgana asked as Mila took up the note.

"If you are reading this, you've come for the runes just as I once did. I thought by having both runes of Gluttony and Sloth at my side, my power would endure, but I was wrong. The powers within are far too great for one man. The magic from both runes leaked and soaked into my house, making it a den of gluttony and sloth. I tried to get rid of them, but before I could, Sloth took hold and I could no longer move my legs. I'm barely able to move my arms as is. And with Gluttony, its power took hold of the kitchen, now everything I'm fed has made me grown fatter and fatter. I write this with what strength I have left. If you seek the runes, use caution...lest you become enthralled by sin. Signed...the Duke." Mila read.

"So these things really are cursed by the sound of it. And I bet this thing is why I'm so fat." Morgana said in anger.

"Maybe...but it also means there's another rune in this house we need to find." Mila said before looking to the rune of Gluttony. "For now, we should take that with us and show it to Darius."
