A New Home in the Country

You turn and turn on the faucet, both the hot and the cold, in a wild frantic gesture. Both knobs swing wide, and the faucet begins to rumble. Thick, red liquid begins to gush everywhere, splashing your clothes and getting all over your arms. The toilet flushes and the mirror cracks to pieces, falling into the sink. The whole house is shaking in its foundations.

Disembodies voices rumble through the beams and scraping noises come from behind the wallpaper. Strange faces begin to appear in the tiles under your feet. The door swings madly, slamming shut before flying wide again.

That tacky sad clown painting looks like it's staring at you.
