A New Home in the Country

You don't mind getting your hands a bit dirty, so, after pacing the hole a few times, you climb in. Pipes and roots provide good enough handholds as you descend deeper and deeper.

The air gets hotter and more musty the further you descend. You feel a beetle crawl across your hand in the dark every now and then. Finally, blind in the dark, your foot misses the wall. The hole ends there.

You hang as low as you can before dropping, and find yourself on a rocky surface in pitch darkness.

You take out your lighter and shine it around you. It's a tunnel heading in two directions, to your left and to your right, roughly hewn out of solid rock.
