Everything Went Dark
The four had chosen an order. Jack should go first. No matter what. It was his fault they were going to be executed. And he was going to be executed anyways. The rest of the order was just who volunteered to be next. Addie, insisted on being last. She claimed it was because she didn't want her friends to have to sit and watch everyone else get executed. So she volunteered to take that place. No one complained.
The four were led outside and they were forced to stand on a podium that also had a guillotine on it. A huge crowd of people surrounded the podium, excited to see some bloodshed. Jack was taken to the guillotine first. The crowd cheered as he was forced down. Jack didn't struggle. He kept his eyes closed and he stayed quiet. The blade came down onto is neck, slicing his head off his body in a swift, clean stroke. The crowd cheered louder. A guard threw his head into the crowd, who actually fought for the head. The rest of Jack's body was pulled off the podium. The crowd had calmed down because two young children had swayed the crowd with their cuteness and let them keep Jack's head and was holding it, beaming with joy. They turned to face the other prisoners.
It was Jennan's turn.
