Finally, the girl came to her senses! You congratulate yourself on another fine catch, taking care to spritz on some cologne and slick back your hair as you tumble downstairs. You slip into your sandals, throw open the door, and casually walk over to where Annalise is standing, unable to conceal your hunter's grin.

"I noticed you," is the first thing she says. The thrill of success rises further in you: noticed me, indeed, you think, grinning wider. You nod, and make some sort of witty charming reply, something that'd make a college girl in a bar giggle and swoon. "You watch me a lot," she says, and it's true: you do. She leaves her window open so much, how can you not? She has a good body, slim but with its share of curves, and the most beautiful set of hips you ever saw. You've imagined your hands on those hips more times than you can count, sometimes while they were grasping others.

"I've been watching you, too," she says, and you can almost vomit with sheer self-satisfaction, "and I figure it's time to... get to know you."
