You sprint towards the path you entered this area from. You are faced by 3 Hyena, but thanks to the plating on your armor and the fatigued state of the Hyena, you are able to force your way through them.
Since you delayed the attack of the Hyena, the Lion was able to pounce in and draw the Hyena from the area. The Lion remains with a claim over the region, but at least its lessened the impact of the Hyena on your citizens.
You are able to return home, unscathed. You report the failed emergency request and later that month, soldiers move and set up a boundary wall, forcing the Hyena from the area while maintaining the Lion as an apex predator for the area. Signs are posted and the number of field emergencies is reduced.
