The Adventures of Atticus King
Both of you are standing in the living room. Edwin is thinking about what to say to you, and you are trying to resist the urge to throw your chicken sandwich into his smug little face!
"Have you heard of the Mayans?" He asks.
"Yes, I have. I'm not a taco throwing idiot like you!" You yell.
Edwin shook his head, "Something is happening in the Mexican jungle." He explained. "The Mayans have been credited for cracking the codes of the universe. I don't buy it. However, last month there was some sort of energy surge from one of their abandoned cities. I didn't even know about this until I was kidnapped by some thugs who wanted me to tell them everything they knew about the Mayans and their lost city. I told them I knew nothing. I then called you, but you never came to my aid for some reason." A feeling of guilt stabbed through your heart. Edwin continued, "I eventually escaped and tracked you here hoping you could help me get to the city first and find it's secrets. "
